PASADO CONTINUO

El pasado continuo se utiliza para describir acciones que se estaban desarrollando en el momento del pasado al que nos estamos refiriendo y que continuaron despues de ese momento.

En este caso la accion no ha ocurridoantes que otro, sino simplemente "ocurrio en el pasado"

ESTRUCTURA:

SUJETO + WAS/WERE + EL VERBO PRINCIPAL CON TERMINACION "ING"

EJEMPLO:

• This morning 8 o´clock sehe was reading - A la 8 de la mañana ella estaba leyendo: La accion de leer habia comenzado antes de las 8 y continuo despues de este instante.
• Last Monday he was traveling - El pasado Lunes el estaba viajando: La accion de viajar comenzo antes del Lunes y continuo despues de este instante.

¿Como se pregunta con el past continuous?

WAS/WERE + SUJETO + EL VERBO PRINCIPAL CON TERMINACION "ING" + ?

EJEMPLO:

Was she working last year?

¿Estuvo ella trabajando el año pasado?

¿Como se niega con el past continuous?

SUJETO + WAS/WERE + NOT + EL VERBO PRINCIPAL CON TERMINACION "ING"

EJEMPLO:

She was not (wasn´t) working

Ella no estuvo trabajando
